I don't get why I've been having constant headaches when I get sufficient amount of sleep everyday.... well, at least I think that it's sufficient.

Anyway, Penang was HOT.

No, I do not mean it in the oh-so-beautiful-and-amazing-place but I mean it in the oh-my-god-I'm-about-to-get-a-heat-stroke.

The 20 year old but still looks brand new car of my grandmother's didn't exactly help the situation because apparently the air conditioning ran out of gas. So basically, we sat in a car that had hot-con. Not funny. Mummy was complaining about how uncomfortable the bed was and that Daddy takes up 3/4 of the bed. Thank Goodness I have a bed of my own but it still isn't the best bed in the world.

Sa Ee and Sa Tiao stayed at the Gurney Hotel in a studio suite. One look at it and Mummy and I decided that on our next trip up to Penang, we're difinitely checking ourselves into a hotel. Plus, the spa rates were to die for :)

When in Penang, we EAT. And that was what we did. Friday night fly up, eat supper (not me, my parents), Saturday afternoon eat, evening go to the temple, dinner eat again. Sunday afternoon eat again, evening fly home.

I suddenly had the craving for the tortilla wrap Sa Ee taught Lisa and I to make so this Friday I am cooking dinner :) most probably for my mum and I only coz my dad doesnt each such things.

it's funny how I have so much to blog during exam periods but I have almost nothing to say when I don't have exams. This is BAD.

Anyway, last night I got angry over a comment made but I won't say anything. Let's just say some people are very naive and should watch what they say to avoid getting into fights.

Monthly tests are this week and I'm so not prepared. Monthly tests for tomorrow:

b) BM
c) Chemistry (maybe)
d) Physics (maybe)
e) Accounts

sigh... So many.

But on the bright side, I'll be going up to penang this weekend :) for grandma's birthday. Sa ee and Sa tiao are going up as well. I want to eat laksa :)

Well, I must've been tired this morning coz I slept right through till 1 pm without even knowing it. Usually I'd wake up at around 10 something then fall back to sleep again but this time I didn't. I slept through till my dad came to tell me that he was going out for lunch and that he'll come back at around 2.30 pm to take me out.

After eating i.nstant noodles for lunch, my dad took me to sunway pyramid to get the sony photo printer...




Then we had to rush home to get ready for dinner with Aunty Chen and her family coz Siao Haln was back from Singapore. As I expected, it was awkward. I mean I haven't spoken to her since what..... std 1? Although our mums kept in touch but we never really did. Maybe we did in primary off and on but I don't really remember it. So yeah, it was awkward. I couldn't text either coz I didn't want to seem rude so I just stoned.

Anyway, I just printed out pictures of Lisa and I and it was pretty! :D

I've concluded that I cannot gamble coz I absolutely have no luck at all.

School was boring so how did katt, siew pun and I entertain ourselves?

BINGO!

Yes, by playing bingo. Haha. Katt kept on winning, I won only 4 games and siew pun got fed up of katt who kept on winning so he went of to play World of Warcraft.

After school mummy came to pick me up with Aunty Chris and ther girls. Sueyi came back from Canada and it was great to talk to her :)

I've got add math homework to do and I should really start studying. sigh....

The migraine seeped back into my head this afternoon and make no mistake, it hurts like shit.

Tuition was a blast *sarcasm*

Update of the weekend:

After great contemplation, I have finally bought my long awaited birthday gift from my parents.


Yes, I realize that this isn't the phone that I've been mentioning in my previous posts but this phone has the exact same features as the W760, which by the way is not out yet (bloody internet gave me the wrong information), except for some things.

W760 = i) has GPS navigator
ii) camera is 3.2 mega pixels
iii) not able to make video calls

W910 = i) does not have GPS navigator
ii) camera is 2.0 mega pixels
iii) able to make video calls

I think I spent nearly an hour just deciding whether or not I should wait or to get this phone and I had to call my mum to get her advice. Finally, I decided to get this phone because...

a) How often will I use the GPS navigator??

b) I have a 10 mega pixel camera.

c) This phone is much prettier :)

d) Plus, the guy at the Sony Ericsson shop threw in the external GPS navigator for free :p

Then, came the problem of choosing the colour. There were 3 colours:

1) red

2) black

3) bronze

I liked both the red and bronze but the catch was that if the phone were to get scratched, it would be more visible on the bronze colour than on the red colour. Plus, the phone that is bronze in colour is local which means it's not original and not from Sony Ericsson. So, I settled for red coz it's sexy and striking :)

Today in school, I found myself missing my phone. What the hell is wrong with me??

Father's Day was yesterday. Everyone was out to dinner with their dads. I went to Rakuzen. Katt and Kenneth were at the same restaurant, in tables RIGHT next to each other. HAHAHAHHA :)

I've finished watching CSI which would mean I've got no more shows to watch :( but Quang has Chuck for me :D

p.s. I think I've been watching too much CSI and reading too much murder stories. Last night, I dreamt that I was being pursued by a serial killer and ended up not being able to sleep.

First and foremost, I would like to express my condolences to the Lai family for their loss.

This morning, Cheras called my mum to inform her that the oral test had been pushed to 11 when it was originally at 1. So, my mum woke me up at 9.30 then we rushed to Cheras. My oral test was basically f***ed up because I froze at my question and I hesitated a lot. This was exactly what I was afraid of and sure enough, I did.

After Cheras, we went to Aunty Chris's place for lunch and Sze has a HEDGEHOG! He's so adorable! I mean I always knew that she loved hedgehogs from all the toy hedgehogs she has but she got a real hedgehog for her birthday.

Sze let him out of his cage and he ran under the couch which caused a major havoc in the house coz he was being squashed by the couch. Haha. So we had to lift the couch up and drag him out. So cute :)

Mummy left me there with Sze and Syu while she sent Aunty Chris to UH. While waiting we watched What Happens in Vegas starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz, not a bad show actually. Then mummy came back and we went to the optical shop where I bought another pair of spectacles, my contact lenses, mummy bought sunglasses and a 2 pairs of spectacles. All in all, it cost RM 4878. Haha.

Tomorrow, daddy's taking me to Lowyat to look for my phone. Hopefully, I'll be able to buy it along with my photo printer and hard drive.

Ironically, today's Friday the 13th.

The instability of my internet connection is really starting to tick me off.

Anyway, I had my Cambridge English Exam today in Cheras. Paper 1, 2 and 3 was alright but paper 4 was a b****. It was a listening test so we had to listen to a few conversations, interviews and such to answer the questions. The British accent wasn't that strong but the problem was that they were talking way too fast. Plus, the classroom we were in had an echo so I had to strain my ears to listen to what they were saying. I'll be lucky if I pass that paper. Well, tomorrow I have my last paper which is an interview which lasts for 1 and a half hours. Trying not to get nervous here. I keep thinking that I should read the dictionary or something to improve my vocabulary.

On other issues, the rising of the prices of petrol has been a common issue in everyone's daily conversations nowadays. Ways to overcome it?

i) start taking public transport - HAH! Like I'm going to wake up at 5.30 every morning to take the bus to school.

ii) reduce the usage of air-con in the car - Sure, we'll just have people walking about with horrible body odour.

iii) abstain from sudden breaks - we'll probably have a 10 car pile up on the road. Good way to reduce the rate of road accidents.

iv) car pooling - how many people can you fit in a kancil? Plus, the issue about seat belts...

In conclusion, we need petrol.

That was random...

Okay, back to math.

Ughhh... I hate days like these when you just wanna stay home but can't because you have to go for tuition.

Well, school was a blast. We got back most of our marks and the only subjects that are left are Moral, Sejarah( I don't even wanna know what my results are) and Accounts.

Results for Mid Year Examinations:

B.M = 70% (3B)
English = 85% (1A)
Maths = 84% (1A)
EST = 89% (1A)
Ekonomi = 80% (1A)
Perdagangan = 90% (1A)
Science = 70% (3B)

It isn't that bad except for my B.M. and Science. I can't believe I got so low for science and I didn't exactly do good for the chemistry part either so I won't be surprised if Mr Sheat drops subtle hints in class. Sigh... B.M. however, I really wanted to get an 1A but because I still stubbornly refuse to read my novel, my paper 2 kinda pulled my marks down or else I could've gotten higher marks. Don't even get me started on Sejarah which I think will ruin my total results.

Whooooooo.... Alright, enough about exams.

CSI MARATHON!!!

Yep, I'm hooked onto CSI right now. I've been watching CSI Miami & New York although I prefer CSI Miami but Horatio has the LAMEST one liners and he always says it after he puts on his sunglasses. Hahahaha. Plus, if you look at his posture closely, it's the shape of an ostrich :)

Of course, I went shopping during the holidays :) I went for the Robinson's pre-sale, bought some things and when nothing interested me, I went around trying the most ridiculous shoes. Come to think of it, some of them actually look good when worn. While it is a headache going shopping with the 3 sisters, Lisa and I managed to survive it and it was fun :)

Back to school tomorrow and I'm not exactly looking forward to it. Lisa and I had a fantasy of just staying home to ROT. Right now, that's exactly what I want to do.

ii) Homework
iii) Endless hours of classes

The Sony Ericsson W760 has a MTV version which has a more colourful casing and looks really funky. I want it BUT I think it's only sold in Italy :( I was thinking of getting Aunty Maggie to get it for me the next time she goes to Italy but that may be months from now and no. 1, I can't wait that long and mummy wants her phone back and no. 2, it may be a limited edition phone so by the time Aunty Maggie goes to Italy, the phone might not be available anymore. sigh... Here's the comparision:




So much difference but of course if I can't get the MTV version, I'm still getting the normal one coz the phone's still awesome :)
