my deepest apologies for the lack of update. I've finally had the time to just sit down, check my email and everything else. Well I've been going out almost everyday ever since SPM ended and those few days when I'm not out, I'm stuck watching the korean series my aunty and ling got me stuck on :p I'll get to that soon.

The trip to Mount Kinabalu was very eye opening and plentiful exciting, I might add. By exciting I mean having altitude sickness, having muscle pains all over, encountering HUGE grasshoppers the size of birds and whining for civilisation. Haha yes, it was definitely an experience. Well I didn't make it up to the peak though I really would've liked to but due to altitude sickness while climbing up to the rest point which was 3/4 of the way up the mountain, heading up to the peak at 2 am in the morning was a big no no for me.

Katt couldn't climb up either due to the sprained ankle so the both of us slept in till aisyah came bursting into our room. Climbing down was horrible. In the beginning it was fun coz you know the more I climbed down, the more I could breathe. But soon it got really hard coz the climb down really took a toll on our knees and legs. My knees buckled under me so many times plus the mud wasn't helping me. Thank goodness both dani and vk were there to help me. fd on the other hand took a really long time to come down coz her knees were giving her problems.

The next morning we all woke up with very very very sore limbs and muscles. The hot spring didn't help much which brings me to my theory of not trusting malaysian facilities, really. Sapi Island was fun with the banana boat and all. Then the hotel on the last day was the best :) It was a good way to end my school.

While everyone headed to the airport on the last day, I met up with my parents in the airport and extended my stay in Kota Kinabalu. We stayed at the Nexus Karambunai Hotel. The rooms were huge and I could dance in the bathroom. Just what I needed after my expedition. As usual, I lazed around like a big fat pig in the hotel room so you could say that it was money well spent on the room :p The beach was beautiful along with the scenery. But alas, all good things must come to an end.

That night after we landed in KL, we went out for dinner at the club with ling and her family. We had jap and after me saying: "I'm not hungry, I don't wanna eat", I ended up eating a lot. Then they had a good time laughing at me as I came down the stairs sideways, like a crab :(

On the 20th of December was ling's 18th birthday! I had lunch in starhill then to the hospital to visit my uncle then to klang for ling's birthday dinner. The food was really good and I know of someone who ate to her heart's content *wink* The cake was a unique cake coz it was a cupcake cake. We bought her roxy shorts plus a red packet for her big birthday this year. Haha.

The next day was Mamma Mia! day. We had mcd's for lunch then quickly headed to Istana Budaya so that we could get good parking. The show was amazing, it was so good! One of the best musicals I've been to. Well, partly because I love the songs and the dancers plus one of the male leads was hot :) Genius ling brought her binoculars and we were looking through them throughout the whole show. We could scrutinize everyone on stage and look at their expressions. Plus, there was the occasional: "Oh look at the one to the far right, cute right?" or "omg, look at the one on the left. so hot!!" haha. We did however manage to get a picture with Sky or Gary Watson, one of the male leads :)

Ever since then I've been out with Min Hua (before he leaves for uk), been out with my primary classmates, been out with ling, sa ee and gee ee. Today the 5 of us, me, ling, sa ee, gee ee and mummy went to gsc signature to watch Australia. It was a really good movie. Ip Man is also a good movie, the kung fu was cool plus it was quite sad in the end but all in all a good movie. Yes Man was really funny seeing as Jim Carrey was in it. Now all I wanna watch is Bedtime Stories.

Oh and as for how I started watching korean shows, it was when sa ee just gave it to me so I decided to try it. It was worth the try :) true, mummy said that they over dramatize it but it works and I cried so much. I spent the whole day watching it yesterday and as a result I ended up having swollen, puffy, red eyes. But the actors and actresses are really talented in acting. The first one I watched was Stairway to Heaven. The songs in the show are really nice so I'm trying to get it off ling along with the piano scores and this is my very cheap (and by cheap I mean no cost) birthday present. Haha.

Back home at last!

So I am back to update after quite a long absence but sadly it's going to another long absence after this post as I'll be off to Kota Kinabalu tomorrow morning. So so so so...

Prom was great, got to see san and finally met abigail in person :) Started off a little rocky coz you know, gotta keep on a look out for my mum but in the end it turned out great. There was a band and a really funny DJ plus some games and awards for Prom King, Prom Queen, Class Clown, Naughtiest, Cutest Couple and Best Dressed. The games were funny especially the folding the newspaper where couples had to try their best to step on the newspaper while dancing with each other. It was funny seeing them struggle and we also saw amongst other stuff.... but back to the topic. Went home at around 12 midnight, exhausted, a little sad but altogether still happy :)

Next day was shopping day for Katt's present with Jas as well as for Quang's present and San's present. So I met up with Jas at 11 then started walking up and down Gardens looking for thw most suitable present for Katt. Half-way through we got distracted by my goal to get Quang's pressie then later we decided on Katt's pressie and finally I decided on San's pressie. Met up with Min Hua and his sister for lunch and they tagged along for some shopping. Jas had to go home early so it was just me, Min Hua and his sister walking around Mid Valley and Gardens aimlessly. I spent the whole day in shoes that were too small for my feet so in the end I succumbed to buying a new pair of slippers from Roxy (I've been planning to get one anyway. heh) While Ter Ching and I were in Roxy shopping, poor Min Hua was stuck outside with our popcorn so he decided to FINISH them. hahaha. Ter Ching was kind enough to let me sign up for her Roxy member card so I now have exclusive invites to members' sales !! *scream*

On Monday we introduced Ling, Sa ee and Sa tiao to Allegro where I had my clam soup again plus my spaghetti vongole and tiramisu for dessert :) This time we had a little chat with the chef coz he wasn't that busy. We found out that his sister works for Dolce & Gabana! The moment Ling and I heard that our reactions were priceless. hahahha. His sister works in the label department. Yep, they have a whole department just for their labels. Sigh.. The life of the rich and famous.

Tuesday wasn't a good day for me coz I started having my lower back pains again and it scared me to death coz I thought what happened the last time was happening again and it was just 3 days away from my Mount K trip. It wasn't as bad this time though coz I could still get up but nevertheless the pain was still there. So my mum brought me to see the chiropractor, Dr Barry Kluner, and we found out that my spine went out of alignment yet again which caused the muscles there to spasm and that was the pain that I was having. So lots of stretching exercises had to be done plus lots of icing to bring the swelling down. It's been getting better each day but I need to take it easy. The good news is I can still go to Mount K but I need to be very careful.

That night was Katt's birthday dinner at Alexis, Bangsar Shopping Center. The food was good but the room they placed us in was very cold. Even the boys complained that it was cold. haha. Then we ajourned to Coffee Bean where we meant the most adorable kid who ran to Niraj but apparently it wasn't Niraj that he liked but rather all the girls sitting at the table :p bsc didn't really change much except for the outside. The inside is still pretty much the same but the toilets are so so so much cleaner.

Wednesday was full of shopping for Mount K stuff. Note to self: If ever you're stuck in a luggage shop with my mum, make sure you bring food and drinks with you coz she'll just leave you to starve and die of hunger. You know how when us girls step into a handbag or clothing store and our eyes just go gaga? It's like that with my mum and luggage shops. haha. Regardless she bought 2 luggages and I'm taking one for my trip :)

I've finally got some down time today after going out almost everyday since SPM finished. However, I've still got lots of packing to do. Plus I've got loads of pictures to upload but I don't think I'll be able to coz the sizes are really big. I'll just upload them by intervals :) Or you can just check them out on my facebook profile :)

So after walking around for 9 endless hours, I finally found my prom dress and it was thanks to Ling who spotted it :)

Yesterday was the Mount K briefing and the list that they gave us requires me to get a lot of stuff. I'm excited though about the trip and the trip later on with my parents. Well after the briefing I followed mummy while she did her errands then later on to the gym. 50 minutes on the treadmill after a month of absence is killing but I managed to get through it and then later died. Haha.

I bought nail polishes which are really really pretty then I did my own manicure and pedicure coz I don't wanna get a professional before going up to Mount K so I'll just get it when I come back. sigh. I can't believe school's over and college is going to start soon and I can still remember those nights before an exam when I would be thinking: "Oh how I wish it was all over..." haha.

OVER!!!!!

SPM is finally over! You will not believe how long I've waited for this day to arrive and it is finally here :D

Well, the accounts paper was different this year. Instead of the usual milikan tunggal for question 2, it was yuran and all the other sorts of yuran questions. Then there was also perkongsian which I was really careless with coz I didn't count the correct untung bersih :( The rest of the questions were alright and hopefully what I did was enough.

Economics was do-able but unfortunately I did not do as well as I had expected. I ran out of time and panicked so I don't even know whether what I wrote at the very last minute even made sense. Therefore, I'm really really hoping that the graph goes down in order for me to get an A1. Paper 1 was easy though and so far I only found one mistake.

Perdagangan today was also do-able. I managed to finish paper 2 this time, thank god. After paper 2 ended it was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I felt so much lighter and I have not felt this way in 3 months, really. Paper 1 was do-able but the last few questions about agencies was a bitch so I tembak-ed my way through.

A new development today was that I tried to drive!! It all started when I wanted mints from Colin and Katt wanted to see his car. So we went down and hazrul, bryan and siew pun followed as well. Then the boys wanted to drive around and as I usually do, I grabbed the front seat. Although I probably don't think it was the best choice as no one trusted Colin's driving. HAHA. So everyone took turns driving except for bryan and katt. Siew Pun is one hell of a crazy driver trying to drift and all. Then it came to my turn. Here's how it went:

a) crawled over to the driver's seat.

b) buckled up

c) looked over at hazrul saying "okay, what do I do now?"

d) hazrul: "press the brake, release the hand brake and change the gear to drive"

e) did as I was told and the car started moving!

f) slowly pressing the accelerator

g) started to panic as I neared the corner and practically slammed on the brakes. In my defense, I did not know that I was supposed to slowly press the brake instead of pressing it hard. :p

h) as I slammed on the brakes everyone went: "OMG!!" hahahahha

i) me: sorry! I don't think I wanna drive anymore!

k) I slowly release the brakes and make a perfect turn!!

l) then I maintained the speed of the car at 20km/h :)

It was at that moment when I decided that when I learn to drive, I'm going to drive at a constant speed of 20-40km/h :) So that was my first experience of driving and I'm sorry, Colin, if I scared you :p

Then after perdagangan it was off to lunch with gee-ee, sa-ee and ling at Chef & Brew. The food there is not all that bad but the portions are HUGE. Dinner was at 7 so I had to go home to get ready. As I was getting ready, someone burst into my room and plopped onto my bed. Thank god I wasn't naked -.- Then she started talking to my penguin and playing with it and what not. Haha I really should've taken a video of that and screened it during her wedding or showed it to her children next time; "see, look at your crazy mummy" :)


Pictures of the dinner will be posted up as soon as I get them from Katt :) Tomorrow's the briefing for mount k at 2pm. It's such an awkward time but at least I get to sleep in a little seeing as I am exhausted to the very last bone.

As an ending note, I am relieved.
